Friday Night Cranks Featured On EbaumsWorld!

Everyone over here at FNC Studios hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We had to cancel last weeks show because we did not have internet access up in Pennsylvania.

But I got the rest of the new audio equipment in the mail and I am just doing some tests now to make sure everything will work for Fridays show. We now are going phoneless! We can call all of the countries listed below, so all of you FNC lovers not from American can now SEND NUMBERS IN!!!...Just make sure you specify what country you would like us to call and include area code.

Last Wednesday I went live doing a "Lectures With Jared" special, and made a prank call at the end of the night. The call was titled "Prank Call Gone Bad...But Gets Hilarious" also known as the "James" call. The video has received good response on Youtube and Myspace bulletins. I was notified Monday that at 12:30pm The video was featured on Ebaumsworld.com!

Since being featured the video has over 111,000 views! if you didn't see the video yet click the picture above to see it.

The show last night was decent. My video editing software was malfunctioning so i have not been able to upload videos the past few weeks. I also found a few old calls that were edited but never made it to Youtube so i will put them all up tonight as well.

Kristin and I will be back in the studio this summer to record her debut solo album. At the moment I am working on a marketing plan for the C.D so expect more updates on her soon. The C.D will be available on all digital retailers that that our prank call C.D's are on, as well as physically through the FNC website and her upcoming website.

Since the album is far from done, more details will be released periodically throughout the summer through this blog and Kristin's video updates.

Friday Night Cranks Set To Release Two Albums This Summer!

I was just going through some old videos and found out that we have enough unreleased material from Season 2 that we did not put onto CD's yet to release "Best Of Friday Night Cranks Season 2 (Part 2)"

Although we aren't sure of the exact track order I can promise you all the "Squirrel In A Christmas Tree Prank Call" will be on there.

I have been getting a lot of fans asking me if I am feeling any better since the show on Friday and the answer is yes i am. I got to stop taking the medicine for the sun poisoning that was making me sick so I'll be in awesome shape for the show on Friday.

Last Nights "Solo Show"..FNC FORUM NOW OPEN!

Even though Joe and Kristin could not make the show last night...they still gave me permission to do another "Solo Show." I tried contacting "The White Ninja" but he did not get back to me in time. So I just did the show with Alyssa.

The night started off pretty well, considering i was taking the requests and making the calls on my own, and dealing with people in the room bitching that I didn't get to their calls yet....Guess Joe has to deal with that a lot. I ended up calling some drunk call and convinced her she wanted to go out with me. But she told me to call back later in the week.

One call that stood out the most was when i called the alcohol abuse center and started yelling at the lady about the voices in my head. When the operator asked me to put "My Wife" on the phone, I was a little worried because Kristin wasn't there so I gave the phone to Alyssa who stalled the lady for a bit until I was able to get back on the phone...Good thing she was there.

I also got the number to the ESPN place we called a few months ago. When I called this week I got the SAME LADY that we kept getting durring the "ESPN Call"

The Friday Night Cranks Forum is now open!...make sure you make an account and post a topic or two. It will take about 3 months or so until the forum really gets going with a bunch of topics but i recommend everyone joins now =)

Friday Night Cranks Forum Coming Soon!

On Saturday I built the official "Friday Night Cranks Forum." This will be a place where all Friday Night Cranks" fans will be able to communicate and post their own thoughts about the show, crew, and anything in general. The coding is not yet finished but will be officially launched this coming Friday.

The forum is currently open to all "Fans of the week". I still have to post a few more topics before the launch on Friday.

So far I have been getting great feedback from the people who signed up and are using it. Kristin got a little confused because she has never seen or heard of a Forum before, but once i showed her how to use it she was very exited about it and made an account and is waiting for everyone else to join on Friday.

Getting Ready For The Summer Shows

I'm hanging out in the studio with the windows wide open and the door going upstairs is wide open..and I'm starting to think about the crazy ass summer shows we had last summer. Besides the fact that FNC was just starting to take off, it was so damn hot down here and things got a bit out of control. There was so much drama, fights, random hookups...not to mention we managed to trash the shit out of the studios every single week. Hopefully this summer we can take away the drama and random hookups but keep the rest of the insanity.

The 12 - 6 shirts have been selling like crazy which is awesome. I hope to have 2 random non FNC related shirts for sale in the next week or so. (After I buy them first and wear them on the show)

The "Late Night Chatline" show has been pretty good so far. You can get the free podcast by clicking on the picture below. I still need to make a few changes to the iTunes page.

I'm pretty psyched about the show tonight. I have a feeling its gonna be a great show. I don't know why but me and Kristin can usually tell when we are gonna have a great show. As you might have noticed I am slowly changing some of the features on the FNC website. First I changed the Fan Of The Week Page. Then I changed up our blog page. And now I am working on changing the FNC Merchandise Store. We have two merchandise stores one has our shirts, hats, mugs, stickers, and buttons..And the other store has our clocks, pillows, and posters. I am working on a page that will combine both the stores together so you all do not get confused when you go to buy our merchandise.

Last night I also put up for sale the official 12 - 6 shirt in our online store. The cool thing about that shirt is that if you don't want a plain T-shirt you can customize it and turn it into whatever you want.

Tonight will also be the live "Test Show" for my new side project Late Night Chatline which will start at midnight. The podcast will also be available on iTunes

New Blog And FNC News

Whats up everyone. Hope you all enjoy the new layout of the FNC Blog. The other one was just a pain in the ass to update. I had to add new links and stuff every time I wrote a new blog. At least with this one it is all viewable from FridayNightCranks.com

We are happy to announce that Kristin's first single "Pretty Face" was released worldwide on iTunes March 28th. Within 3 days of being released it has outsold every single "Friday Night Cranks" call and outsold the FNC Theme Song. All of the tracks on iTunes are available Here

I (Jared) also would like to confirm that he is starting another solo project. The name of the project is called "Late Night Chatline" and it will be a live internet talk show broadcasted from LiveVideo.com Currently I am hosting it with "Melissa Mayhem" and "Kim Possible" which you probably all know Kim if you watch FNC. I am pretty excited about starting this up because I get the chance to start something new and explore different ways of entertainment. Also the show will be hosted from 3 different locations. Me being here in Long Island, Melissa lives only a block away from me but she will be hosting from her house, and I will be hosting from FNC Studios. Kim lives all the way up in Canada and she will also be broadcasting from her house. I still have not decided on a date or time that the show will start. The show will consist of call ins, music interviews, and much much more.

I would also like to clear up all rumors that have been going around concerning the new show. I have received a handful of emails asking if i was "Leaving Friday Night Cranks for the new show" and the answer is no..wait let me rephrase that...Hellllll no. This is called a "Side project" for a reason. Kristin has her side project which would be her music and my current side projects are PLC and Late Night Chatline. I love how people can come up with random stuff like that but I appreciate all the emails and concerns.
